We are looking to recruit experienced Maternity Care Assistants at Frimley NHS Health Foundation Trust (FHFT) who are currently working in the UK in a Healthcare setting. We have a range of Maternity Care Assistant (MCA) vacancies across our clinical departments in maternity atWexham Park Hospital.
We are looking for compassionate, caring healthcare workers who strive to deliver high quality care to patients. You currently must be in the UK and have current experience of working in a UK Healthcare setting as an HCA.

As a Maternity Care Assistant, you will work under direct or indirect supervision of a registered midwife. You will be primarily assisting the midwifery team with care of the patients and will facilitate the smooth running of the department.
As a member of the ward/department team you will always clinically support your registrant colleagues and act in the best interest of patients. With this role we expect that everyone is treated with respect and dignity and values others’ beliefs whilst delivering clinical care. This is a clinical front facing role where excellent customer care skills are expected to be delivered to patients, relatives, carers, and colleagues.

These are some of the clinical tasks you may be expected to deliver as a Band 3 MCA at FHFT - please refer to the attached full Job Description for a more expanded list.
• To assist members of the multi-disciplinary team to maintain patient’s fundamental needs and ensure patient safety.
• To carry out duties in support and under supervision of a Registered Midwife.
• To participate in direct patient care and other general duties within the employed clinical area.
• To provide support and leadership to other maternity care assistants and assist with a range of both clinical and non-clinical duties.
