Summary
As a Senior Social Worker in our Mental Health team, you will support adults who are experiencing serious mental health challenges. You’ll work closely with doctors, nurses, and other professionals to help people stay safe, get the care they need, and return to living as independently as possible.
You may work in teams that respond to crises, support people in the community, or help those living with long-term mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support adults facing mental health difficulties by creating care plans and checking in regularly.
Respond quickly in urgent or crisis situations.
Offer emotional and practical support to individuals and their families.
Work with other professionals (like doctors and housing officers) to ensure the person gets complete support.
Help make decisions about hospital admissions when necessary.
Supervise and support less experienced social workers or students.
Keep clear and accurate records of your work.
