Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to help GradLink expand its network of 1000+ employers, and to develop its B2B partnerships.
The Global Employability Development Officer is a flexible part time role (8 hours per week) focused on building networks with employers and generating vacancies in skills shortage areas (primarily technical roles) for GradLink’s UK section. This is part of a project being run in collaboration with the University of Southampton to help international students build careers in the UK.
The role also involves reaching out to organisations and businesses to promote and explain the benefits of partnering with GradLink.
About you
Since this is a role focused on building productive connections with employers and external organisations, strong networking skills are a must. You would have a proven record of developing outcome-yielding relationships with employers and businesses from scratch – ideally in the tech job recruitment space.
You would have excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly and powerfully explain the value of GradLink to employers and organisations, being able to tailor your message to address their specific requirements.
You should be passionate about helping international graduate talent to fulfill its potential and the role it can play in enhancing the UK’s workforce.
This role can be done entirely remotely and is very flexible, the only consideration for planning your time being how to optimise development of the networks outlined above.
If you would like to speak to us to find out more about this role please contact David Gee, Creator of GradLink on 0117 328 2766 or email: david.gee@uwe.ac.uk.
Where is this role based?
This role can be done entirely remotely.
You also have the option of being based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.
We offer a wide range of employee benefits including progressive pay rates, generous annual leave and career average pension schemes as well as retail savings, onsite nursery and opportunities for training and personal development.
We particularly encourage applications from global majority candidates as we are currently under-represented in this area of the organisation, however all appointments are made strictly on individual merit.
As a Disability Confident employer, we welcome applications from those who identify as having a disability.
