Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer (PO2) to join our esteemed legal team. The Junior Lawyer will play a vital role in supporting our senior attorneys in a range of legal matters, including corporate law, contract negotiations, and compliance issues. In this position, you will contribute to various legal projects, assisting in research, drafting documents, and preparing case materials, while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced professionals. Responsibilities
Assist senior attorneys in legal research and analysis of various cases and legal issues.
Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs, under the supervision of senior lawyers.
Review and summarize legal documents and case files to support ongoing legal matters.
Attend client meetings and court proceedings as needed, providing support and note-taking.
Conduct due diligence and compliance checks for corporate transactions and agreements.
Help prepare materials for legal presentations or trials, including exhibits and witness lists.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting the practice area.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the practice of law in the relevant jurisdiction or currently in the process of admission.
Prior internship or clerkship experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is a plus.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to professional development and a desire to grow within the legal field.
