Summary
EV Technician Responsibilities
To service all makes and models of EV to a high standard efficiently.
Identify customer service and repair needs, confidently explaining pricing and processes when appropriate.
Carry out accurate diagnostics, fault finding, and technical support using Autel and other diagnostic tools.
Provide remote technical assistance to other technicians, using written and verbal communication.
To thoroughly quality check all work undertaken and seek advice/support when required.
To competently undertake any necessary fast fit repair as directed or required.
To communicate regularly with feedback to the Mobile EV Master Technician Manager ensuring deadlines are met and customers are satisfied.
To work in a safe and clean environment & to be always responsible for H&S
Will work with field teams as required to support in complaint resolution which will include working on Non EV from time to time as dictated by the needs of the business
General
Comfortable working in outdoor conditions, at customer or centre locations, and across various weather conditions.
Operate independently and work remotely or alone with confidence and self-sufficiency.
Be flexible to travel outside of normal working hours and across the UK network, depending on business needs.
Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by the management team.
must be comfortable attending trade shows to promote the business including our garage services and mobile to both retail and business customers
Desirable
Current EV-specific qualifications (e.g. IMI Level 2/3 in EV & Hybrid Systems).
Willingness to attend TESLA EV training as part of your ongoing development.
