About the role:

The School of Medicine wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Anatomy to contribute to course management, course delivery and course development in the area of Anatomy, and to undertake related research and knowledge transfer activities. This position is based on the Preston campus, occasional visits to other sites may be necessary.

Working within a committed and enthusiastic team you will focus primarily on programmes in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. You will support the Anatomy Lead in the academic leadership, development and delivery of modules with a strong focus on clinical aspects of anatomy. You will also develop and deliver assessment and evaluation for these programmes.

About you:

You will hold a undergraduate degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate subject as well as a teaching qualification (or willingness to undertake on appointment) or membership of the HE. You will have a commitment to continued professional development. You will also undertake income generation, research and knowledge transfer through relevant activities and undertake specific course leader responsibilities in related programmes.

You must possess excellent communication and presentation skills; have an ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and maintain good working relationships with other professions. Experience of lecturing, assessment and excellent IT, and organisational skills are essential.
