With over 20 years of expertise in designing and manufacturing batteries from our base in Thurso, Scotland, we proudly serve blue chip customers in defence, security, aerospace, oil and gas, and renewables markets. We are entering a new phase of growth and we need exceptional talent to grow alongside us.


Key functions:


Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Term Time Production Operative will be responsible for:


• Assembly of Battery Packs
• Operation of Manufacturing equipment
• Soldering
• Packing and stocktaking of products and materials.


To be considered suitable for the Term Time Production Operative role it would be preferred you should be able to demonstrate the following aspects:


• Strong practical skills
• Have an understanding of quality control procedures
• Ability to work within defined timescales
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Basic numeracy
• Flexible attitude


Experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be given. Excellent written and verbal communication is a pre-requisite.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 0930 to 1400hrs school term time only. How this will work from a practical perspective can be shared in detail at interview.
