Your new role
In your brand-new role as a Senior Internal Controls Analyst you will join the Risk and Controls team. In this pivotal role, you'll help strengthen and maintain the businesses internal control environment and risk management framework across the business. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that internal controls are thoroughly documented, effectively designed, and consistently operating across the organisation. You will conduct detailed assessments and testing of these controls to identify areas for improvement and drive enhancements. Collaboration with global stakeholders will be key to strengthening risk awareness and improving control effectiveness. Additionally, you will support the development and implementation of best practices, contributing to a strong and resilient internal control environment.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this exciting yet challenging role you will be ACA/ACCA Qualified with direct experience in an internal controls function or in providing third-party internal controls advisory services. You will have strong knowledge of SOX and US GAAP. The role also requires awareness of complex accounting standards such as revenue recognition, share-based payments, and financial instruments, as well as an understanding of the inherent risks associated with the industries and markets in which the organisation operates. Strong communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences. The successful candidate will be highly organised, capable of managing multiple priorities, and possess excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
