St Stephen’s C / E Primary School requires a Teaching Assistant to work with teachers to raise the attainment of pupils across the school.
This is a post for 32.5 hours per week, 8.30 am – 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
The post is term-time only plus INSET days (39 weeks). Salary scale points 5– 6.
We are looking for staff who have experience in working with children or are planning to become a teacher in the future, have excellent numeracy and literacy skills and can work under the direction of the class teacher to raise attainment.
The teaching assistant role is vital to the school and involves the planning and preparation of lessons and learning activities. You will be required to cover full classes in the absence of colleagues. You will also be required to manage and supervise pupil behaviour and contribute to the maintenance of effective school administration. Are you driven to enable all children to succeed?
