What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teaching Assistant to provide in-class support. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and successful team working with a wide variety of young people. We would hope that the successful candidate would work Monday – Friday, though part time options may be negotiated. This role requires energy and the ability to motivate students to achieve their maximum potential while maintaining and developing their independence. Suitable candidates must be kind and caring, be flexible, organised and preferably have experience of working with young people.
The successful candidate will:
• Put children’s safety and wellbeing first
• Have high expectations of learning and behaviour
• Support the teacher in providing learning opportunities to ensure all children reach their potential
• Be highly motivated with a commitment to securing the best outcomes for all children
• Be actively involved in all aspects of school life
