We have a new opportunity for an Electrician to join a local council to deliver a high quality responsive repairs service in customer's homes.
Responsibilities:
- Tracing, diagnosing, and rectifying faults using appropriate testing and measuring equipment.
- Partial or full re-wiring to council properties, both domestic and communal, as required including testing, commissioning, and certifying of these works.
- All types of cable containment, wiring of door entry systems, fire alarms, testing of emergency lighting and 3 phase power switching and distribution.
- Planning each job and ensuring the required materials are available to ensure the programme of works are completed to schedule.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts One and Two, or NVQ Level 3 including AM2 (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
