Are you interested in driving forward world leading research in additive manufacturing using an array of impressive metallic AM processing equipment?
The AMRC group is seeking a Project Engineer
- Additive Manufacturing for their facility near Blackburn. Use your engineering and/or science background to provide project support and contribute to the AMRC NW's growth in additive manufacturing. You will use your skills in engineering and/or a relevant science subject to provide project support to the team, helping to build the capability and reputation of the AMRC NW in the field of additive manufacturing.In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of both large and small research projects from concept to completion ensuring that projects are delivered to an exceptional standard. You will have experience within a practical ‘hands on’ work environment, ideally in additive manufacturing, however this is not essential as training will be provided. You will be working within the technical teams as well as interacting and working with our industrial partners.
Your role will involve supporting the completion of research projects, maintaining high standards. Previous practical work experience, preferably in additive manufacturing, is beneficial but not vital. You will collaborate with technical teams and industrial partners.
You will have:
● Have a good grasp of engineering and/or scientific principles.
● Experience within a practical environment, hands-on work, in additive manufacturing.
● Be a strong communicator, both written and verbally.
● Be able to work to deadlines.
