Summary


The Urology service provides a full range of Adult services including a comprehensive cancer service,
stone service, specialist infertility and continence services. Inpatient, day case, diagnostic and outpatient
services are provided at the Castle Hill Hospital site with a small number of outpatient clinics also delivered
at Hull Royal Infirmary and East Riding Community Hospital (ERCH).
The Urology service provides a comprehensive tertiary service across Humber Coast and Vale region for
patients with urological cancers. The service works closely with colleagues based in North Lincolnshire and
Goole Hospitals (NLAG) and York Hospitals NHS Trust This includes undertaking weekly clinics and
attending MDTs at both Grimsby and York hospitals.

The provisional work programme is flexible and will vary from week to week. An example weekly timetable is as below:

Duties other than those clinical duties specified will be in accordance with the Job Plan agreed between the Appointee and the Consultants.

Participation in audit/appraisal and CME is mandatory under clinical governance/GMC guidance.

All medical staff may be required to work on any of the Trust’s sites and across a seven day period.
