More detail about the role In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for producing and managing complex rotas for Consultants, SAS, and Junior Doctors across the General Surgery and Urology services. Youll act as the key contact for day-to-day staffing queries, ensuring safe and effective cover while balancing service demands and staff wellbeing. Youll work closely with clinical leads and multidisciplinary teams to match staff skillsets to theatre lists, support induction and leave planning, and contribute to service development. Your ability to communicate with diplomacy, manage sensitive information, and adapt to changing priorities will be essential. What were looking for: Proven experience in rota coordination, team leadership, and administrative support Strong organisational and analytical skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Experience and proficiency in systems like Health Roster and MS Office A commitment to patient-centred care and service excellence Join us and play a vital role in ensuring our surgical services run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours. If you join before the implementation date, the pay award will be backdated to your start date. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2024/5 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2024/25 | NHS Employers) This is a fixed term contract for X months/until date. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
