PE Technician to start 1st September 2025
Permanent
14.8 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only plus 5 non-pupil days)
£25,992 to £27,711 full time equivalent
£13.47 to £14.36 per hour
We are seeking a passionate and organised PE Technician to support our Physical Education department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and development of sport and physical activity across the school.
The role involves promoting opportunities both in and out of the curriculum, coordinating fixtures, and liaising with local clubs and coaches to build strong partnerships. You’ll also provide vital technical support, ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained, and lead or assist coaching sessions to inspire students.
We’re looking for someone enthusiastic about sport, confident working with young people, and ready to take initiative. Previous experience in a school or coaching environment is an advantage.
School Games Organiser (SGO) to start 1st September 2025
Fixed term
22.2 hours per week, 43 weeks per year (term time plus 5 non-pupil days, plus 4 weeks to be worked during the school holidays as agreed)
£29,572.00 full time equivalent
£15.33 per hour
This role is temporary as linked to funding, which currently runs until April 2026, however this may be extended. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a dedicated team of professionals working across North Devon schools The post holder will work with national guidance from Sport England and the Youth Sports Trust, to support all schools in North Devon, by promoting the importance of physical activity and co-ordinating appropriate competitive opportunities to be enjoyed by all young people across Key Stages 2-4.
We are looking for an individual with excellent knowledge of school sport, community sport and sports club structures, ideally with previous experience of planning, coordinating events and organising competitions. The successful candidate will be highly organised with the ability to manage a range of projects at any one time and have good interpersonal skills
