Summary
Conveyancing Assistant – Brighouse
Location: Brighouse, West Yorkshire (Office-based)
Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 DOE + benefits
Experience: Minimum 12 months in a residential conveyancing support role
An established and friendly law firm in Brighouse is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to support its Residential Property department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least a year’s experience in conveyancing who is looking to develop their skills further in a supportive, close-knit team environment.
The Role:
- Supporting a Conveyancer or Solicitor with a caseload of residential property
matters
- Preparing contract packs, conducting ID and AML checks, and dealing with post-
completion tasks including SDLT and Land Registry applications
- Handling client queries via phone and email in a professional and friendly manner
- Managing and updating case management systems
- Assisting with file opening, closing and compliance checks
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a residential conveyancing support role
- Understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
