We're looking for a committed Safeguarding Administrator to join our dedicated team at Bexleyheath Academy.

We are currently seeking a Safeguarding Administrator to join our dedicated team of support staff, starting in September 2025. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Safeguarding Officer (DSL) and ensuring the effective implementation of our safeguarding policies and procedures. This presents an exciting opportunity for an individual who is deeply committed to safeguarding and making a positive impact in the lives of young people.

If you are passionate about safeguarding and possess the necessary administrative skills to support our Safeguarding Officer (DSL), we would be delighted to hear from you. This role offers the chance to contribute to the well-being and protection of our students, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment in which to flourish.

You're someone who'll be able to:

  • To communicate effectively and sensitively with school staff, professionals and parents/carers.
  • To work under pressure in a fast pace environment
  • Understand confidentiality issues within a school environment.

You're someone who has:

  • Experience of working within the Education Sector and knowledge of Safeguarding/child protection
  • Respond well to a changing environment
  • Ability to use initiative to deal with telephone calls and staff queries in a professional manner
