Summary

Support Worker

30 hours per week

Location: Glasgow Southside and Surrounding areas

£12.60 per hour

You will be able to help people you support to live the individual life they want, ensuring they have choice and control over the planning and delivery of their support. You will enable them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support along with encouraging them to develop positive relationships and to be an equal and valued member of their local community.

The individuals we support have varied levels of verbal communication. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience of working with adults with challenging behaviour, although this is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Working with individuals on a 24-hour rota (including sleepover shifts), you will provide support with, medication administration, household tasks, meal preparation, leisure pursuits, social inclusion, and emotional support.
