Summary

Join Our Team as a Support Worker in Witney (OX28)

Location: Witney, OX28 (Just a 2min Drive from Windrush Medical Practice)
Pay Rate: £12.83 per hour (£50 Per Sleep-In Shift)
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time
Shifts:

- 2:30 PM - 2:30 PM the following day (with sleep-in)

- Sleep-In: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM (1-2 per week)

- 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

- 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

- 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Driver Requirement: Manual drivers essential

Who Will You Be Supporting?

You'll be joining a friendly, established team supporting five adults (three men and two women) aged 40-60s. Each person has their own unique personality and support needs, including:

- Autism

- Cerebral palsy

- Visual impairment (one gentleman is blind)

- Mental health needs

- Mild learning disabilities

Support is a mix of 1:1 and shared hours, and your role will include:

- Daily Living Support: Personal care (mostly verbal prompts), medication administration, and meal preparation

- Mobility Support: One person uses a hoist, and two use wheelchairs when out in the community

- Health & Nutrition: Supporting one person with feeding (following a SALT assessment)

- Community Engagement: Encouraging independence and supporting hobbies and outings
