Summary

Job Description
Pay Rate: £24,638.00 per annum

Full time: 37.5 hours a week

Shifts: 7.30 am - 3:30pm, 2:30am - 10:30pm, 10pm till 8am (To undertake waking nights duties on a rotational basis if required)

Job Description

Our teams provide care and support for individuals with different conditions at Priory sites all across the UK.

Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you'll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work.

You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you’ll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.

It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people’s lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.

Qualifications and Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature

Empathy, understanding and patience

Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

Ability to understand and follow policies and procedure

The ability to anticipate and respond to challenges

Competent in verbal and written English

A healthcare qualification is desirable, but not essential

Additional Information

Priory Althea Park House is a residential home in Stroud, Gloucestershire. We offer 10 beds for young males and females aged between 16 - 25 years old with eating disorders and other mental health needs including anxiety, depression and OCD. We also work with neurodivergent residents with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and/or ADHD that are also living with an eating disorder. Althea Park House provides a warm, homely and therapeutic atmosphere.

All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland, and the cost of this will be covered by Priory.
