Joining us as a Field Component Manager

We’re looking for a Field Component Manager to join our Customer Field Operations team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the operational management of all components used in support of consumer installations and engineering support functions. You’ll ensure timely and cost-effective inventory management, quality control, and collaborate across engineering, operations, and finance teams to optimise component usage and support our overall business objectives.

You’ll receive a salary of up to £46,000, a car allowance, a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

Develop and maintain accurate inventory levels of field components, ensuring optimal availability while minimising holding costs

Implement robust inventory control systems and conduct regular audits and reconciliations

Manage the full lifecycle of components, including ordering, obsolescence, and disposal

Oversee component returns and warranty claims, working with suppliers to resolve quality issues

Manage the components budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and prepare reports on procurement, inventory, and cost performance

Analyse data to identify trends and continuously improve our processes

What you’ll bring to the role

With proven experience in telecoms inventory management, you’ll be a skilled operator who thrives on driving operational excellence. You’ll also have:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

A full UK driving licence
