Salary: National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage dependent on the age of the appointed candidates.

Are you passionate about animal care and ready to support the next generation of dog grooming professionals? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dog Grooming Technician to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning within our specialist dog grooming facilities.
As a Dog Grooming Technician, you will play a key role in supporting teaching staff during practical sessions, supervising and guiding learners in a professional salon environment. You’ll provide technical advice on grooming techniques and equipment use, maintain a clean and safe working space, and ensure grooming tools are properly maintained and stored. The role also involves managing stock and resources, processing grooming bookings and payments, and delivering commercial grooming services during out-of-term periods. You’ll collaborate with staff across the college, contribute to course development and promotional activities, and stay informed on industry developments to support continuous improvement.

• Experience in a dog grooming environment with the ability to complete full grooms on a range of breeds.
• Ability to support and instruct learners.
