Summary
Support worker – Bridgend
We are a specialist care recruitment agency currently seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to join our team, working on behalf of a reputable supported living provider.
About the Role:
Support Workers play a crucial role in enabling individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or physical disabilities to live independently and safely. Responsibilities may include:
Providing personal care and practical support
Assisting with medication, meal preparation, and household tasks
Supporting individuals to access community services and social activities
Promoting independence, dignity, and choice at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience in care or support work (at least 6 months)
A caring and empathetic approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible shifts between 07:00 and 20:00
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
What We Offer:
Competitive pay rates: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour
