Summary

Salary: £23,492 – £25,205 (per annum)

Contract Type: Fixed Term (4 years)

Hours: 37 per week

Location: Ellesmere Port Campus

We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our Management Information department at our Ellesmere Port Campus; you will work in the team, while studying for a Degree in Digital & Technology Solutions at Manchester Met University.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their knowledge and use their skills to provide digital technology solutions across a range of functions. We offer the Data Analyst specialism, so a keen interest in data reporting and information systems is required.

We are keen to talk to candidates who have achieved (or will in August) A levels, T Level or Vocational Level 3 qualifications in Computing, IT or other relevant subjects, and are keen to study for a degree whilst working.

Key Responsibilities:

To deliver quality data services in a way that efficiently supports the work of the Planning and Information Directorate; and
To support the wider MIS and Exams departments.

Key Person Specification Requirements:

GCSE Grade 5 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
L3 qualifications in relevant subjects;
Willingness to work towards a Degree Apprenticeship in Digital & Technology Solutions;
Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent digital literacy skills (especially in MS Excel);
Experience of Programming, database development and some knowledge of SQL language and database architecture would be beneficial but not essential.
Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment; and
Enhanced DBS check.
