Summary
We’re looking for an organised, detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to support a our client, on a busy team on a temporary basis. If you enjoy keeping things running smoothly, maintaining accurate records, and working collaboratively to deliver essential safety compliance services, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll be providing essential admin and coordination support, ensuring inspections and remedial works happen on time, records are up to date, and communication with contractors and tenants is professional and clear.
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
• Previous administration experience within housing, property, compliance or similar
• Confident liaising with contractors, technical teams, and residents
• Experience managing and updating records accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Awareness of housing compliance requirements (desired but not essential)
• Understanding of key compliance areas such as gas safety, electrical checks, fire safety, legionella, asbestos, and lift servicing (advantageous)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail for maintaining accurate compliance records
• Clear, effective communication skills with colleagues, contractors, and residents
• Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to analyse information and solve problems proactively
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Within this position, you’ll also be:
• Supporting delivery of the compliance programme (including gas safety, electrical checks, fire safety, legionella, asbestos and lift servicing)
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in compliance databases
• Liaising with contractors and internal teams to schedule inspections and manage remedial works
• Tracking completion of actions and escalating outstanding issues where needed
• Assisting with monitoring and managing shared mailboxes to respond promptly to resident and contractor queries
• Providing admin support to the wider Asset Management Team during busy periods or staff absence
• Ensuring GDPR-compliant record keeping (both electronic and paper)
• Communicating clearly and respectfully with residents about inspections, visits, and repairs
• Participating in team meetings, training, and continuous improvement activities
• Supporting a collaborative, high-quality service with colleagues, contractors, and residents
Salary and Hours of Work
• 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm – early finish Friday (start/finish time can be flexible)
• £12.50 - £13.00 Per hour
• Temp to Perm opportunity
