Summary
Swansea University’s Marketing Service is looking for an experienced Marketing Officer to join its Campaigns Team as maternity cover until 03/07/2026.
This role will be focused on web and digital activity and the role holder will need experience in analysing website usage and performance, managing web content, building pages in a CMS, and SEO. Experience with platforms such as GA4, Silktide, Hotjar Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Semrush (or similar), Google Tag Manager is also an important element of this role.
This is an exciting opportunity for the role holder to link our marketing activity with wider website development. You will be required to contribute to a co-ordinated approach to all front end and back end web-related activity undertaken across the various sub-teams, working closely with the Campaigns team, wider Marketing Service, and University stakeholders. With this in mind, excellent communication and willingness to collaborate will be essential.
The Campaigns team has a broad remit that includes planning and delivering campaigns, delivering all future student communications and related CRM activity, and specialist digital activity including website performance, SEO and digital advertising. The team (along with the rest of the Marketing Service) works across key markets globally. The Marketing Service is currently based on our Singleton Campus and operates a hybrid working pattern.
