Plumbers Assistant required for large plumbing company. The role mainly involves working closely with a qualified plumber as a pair specialising in leak detection and repair for mains water supplies to domestic properties. The suitable plumbers assistant will need to be comfortable with working outside through all seasons, mainly helping carry supplies and digging down to mains water pipes. There is on the job training, so no plumbing qualifications are required for this role and suitable employees can be trained to the senior team member as part of ongoing progression. A medium sized van with company fuel card is provided from the start. The salary on offer is 27 to 30k depending on age and experience, with other performance bonuses available that can add up to around 3k per year if achieved.
