KFM is looking for a Theatre Technician to join our dedicated Theatre Services team at King’s College Hospital. You’ll be
instrumental in maintaining vital medical equipment and supporting frontline clinical teams in delivering world-class patient
care.
What You’ll Do:
* Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot a range of specialist medical and scientific equipment.
* Deliver technical training to clinical and non-clinical staff.
* Ensure all theatre equipment is in top condition and compliant with infection control standards.
* Support equipment audits and ensure accurate maintenance records.
* Collaborate across departments including Clinical Teams, Procurement, and Technical Services.
What You’ll Bring:
* Higher National Diploma in a scientific or technical subject or equivalent technical experience.
* Strong IT, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive and adaptable attitude with a passion for continuous learning.
* Interest in teaching and staff development.
Desirable:
* Experience in a hospital or technical environment.
* Experience with medical devices and current instrumentation techniques.
