About the role:

As Commissioning and Projects Officer, you will work within Live Well Projects to lead and advise on a variety of workstreams and programmes, to ensure that commissioning programmes and projects are delivered effectively and efficiently. This will include:

Leading service design, strategic oversight and information gathering, and project delivery on varied topics within the Partnership space
Relationship building and collaboration, representing Live Well in strategic projects and communicating priorities accurately and effectively
Monitoring project performance and progress.
Conducting needs & resources assessments / situation & response assessments and market analyses for project areas
Stakeholder engagement and participation (including service users)
Ongoing review and project evaluation
Line management of Project Co-ordinator
As Commissioning & Projects Officer, you will lead on specific projects and workstreams, including needs / data analysis, project design and development as well as project management and monitoring to ensure effective and efficient project delivery. You will identify opportunities for closer partnership working and you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and building partnerships internally and externally to influence and support the achievement of key initiatives.

You will collate and analyse data and information to inform the development and delivery of the projects under your remit. You will manage a communication plan that focuses on robust messages about the need for any changes that are being proposed and implemented. You will work with stakeholders to ensure that they are aware of the project milestones and the achievement of agreed deadlines.

You will deliver on projects within robust governance frameworks that facilitate the meaningful involvement of citizens, service users, service providers and front-line staff in every stage of the commissioning cycle.

Confidence and ability to work innovatively and creatively with the project leadership and key partners to support the transformation of care and support.
Experience, knowledge and understanding of adult social care.
Strong communication skills to support the promotion, marketing, management and development of existing and new services
Experience of effective partnership working with/across social care (and health) partners and stakeholders.
Information management skills and abilities and use of IT systems that support the review and analysis of service and project level quantitative and qualitative data.
Ability to prioritise and manage a busy and complex workload.
Self-motivated, adaptable and flexible with an ability to motivate others through periods of significant change.
Be determined, persuasive and enthusiastic.
Be proactive, and to be able to act on their own initiative.
What you will do:
