Summary
Key Responsibilities:
To facilitate the appropriate placement of looked after children and care leavers.
Identify quality placements that are matched to meet child needs.
Source factual information to in house foster carers and placement providers.
Quality assurance, manage placements budgets, contract negotiations, using data systems.
Key Requirements
GCSE's in English and Maths at Grade C or above.
Relevant business or administrative qualification, ideally NVQ level 3 or above.
Effectively communicate with internal colleagues and external placement providers.
Awareness of local authority's statutory responsibilities relating to vulnerable children and young people.
Work flexibly and meet emergency placement requests when required and respond positively in crisis situations.

Mon- Fri
8.45am - 17.30pm
