MATERNITY COVER POST

Are you experienced in Income Generation and marketing, are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity working for a unique Charity based in Constable Country?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about fundraising to support our philosophy of People First, Disability Second and our motto of ‘Life is For Living’.

This maternity cover post will require the successful candidate to be proactive in engaging with the community, seeking out corporates, third parties and individuals to raise awareness of the Organisation and gain financial support. The role requires you to be driven to work towards challenging income targets, and be committed to making a real difference to all those that live at Acorn Village.

Key Responsibilities

· To research and build a pipeline of ongoing fundraising activity with particular focus on corporate, community groups and individuals to raise income to an agreed target.

· Provide appropriate support for external fundraising events as required.

· Build donor retention by ensuring supporters feel engaged with and are part of ‘Team Acorn’

· Monitor the “support us” inbox, acting as first point of contact for a wide range of enquirers and supporters, maintaining a professional approach at all times.

· Undertaking marketing tasks as and when required.

· Support the Head of Communications and Income Generation in all aspects of fundraising when needed.

Assist in promoting the profile of the Organisation.

A minimum of one years' experience in this field is a requirement. Candidates without experience will not be considered.
