Here at Serco, we work with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to assist individuals through the asylum system, which includes providing them with temporary accommodation. We are looking for an Administrator to join our team. This is a critical support role within a high-paced and sensitive environment where accuracy, communication, and a commitment to public service are paramount.
You will be the central point of contact for the AASC contract hiring managers and all relevant and related teams both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring and management of relevant mailbox, processing requests as required to a high standard, providing excellent outcomes for our internal and external customers.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date reporting of new starter / leavers and role change activity.
- Maintaining relationships with all internal and external stakeholders related to role.
- Maintain the systems put in place that monitor completion and quality of My Catch Up across the contract collating data as required for the contract. MyCatch-up is our approach to performance, development and supporting wellbeing.
- Coordinate and schedule exit interviews with departing employees, ensuring confidentiality, and providing a comfortable environment for staff feedback.
- Maintain a secure storage facility designated specifically for IT equipment/staff uniform, with controlled access.
What You’ll Need
Essential:
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above).
- Strong computer literacy, including Outlook and Excel.
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within criminal justice, legal, or public sector environments.
- Familiarity with offender management systems (e.g., NOMIS, DPS).
