Responsibilities of our Digital Content Officer:
create specialist and search engine optimised content for the Cats Protection (CP) website
ensuring content is accurate, up to date, engage with key audiences and effectively
communicates the organisation’s key aims, including education, welfare and generating funds
provide guidance on digital content best practice, offering feedback and support to colleagues across the organization
use Google Analytics to analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of existing content. Interpreting the results to provide reporting to teams and departments across the organisation and managing the process to improve the effectiveness of the digital content
About the Digital team:
responsible for the content on Cats Protection’s national website
ensure content is kept engaging, relevant, consistent and on brand – as well as increasing Cats Protection’s visibility online through search
What we’re looking for in our Digital Content Officer:
significant experience in writing SEO focused content for a digital audience essential
significant experience working with a CMS (Content Management System) essential
proven ability to write specialist SEO website content for a range of differing audiences
excellent verbal and written communication skills
knowledge of web accessibility and usability standard
