Summary
The success of a government project can depend on secure, timely shipments and our Logistics team always deliver the goods. From dedicated drivers to King's Messengers, they've delivered to over 250 destinations worldwide, moving over a million kilograms of freight annually across land, air, and sea. Now, you've got the opportunity to join them.
Delivering globally.
Dispatching each shipment with care.
Seeing your impact go further.
It all matters.
Lead your team to keep sensitive materials secure
Secure handling of classified materials demands absolute precision and trust. And that’s exactly what you’ll deliver every day. Not only will you handle the everyday operations for the Classified Bag import and export service, but you’ll also ensure the delivery is cost-effective and adheres to the paperwork. Coaching your staff on security standards, ensuring all SLAs are met, and being on top of all governance and documentation are just some of the things you’ll be doing when you join us.
Most importantly, you will be liaising with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring all requirements are met and expectations are managed. You’ll also be in charge of packing the product securely, running point on document control procedures and auditing all Health & Safety processes. Service delivery will be your top priority, and you’ll always be on the lookout for better ways of working.
Manage end-to-end operations to protect the UK’s interests
You’re someone who thrives on keeping things organised and running smoothly. Planning, coordinating resources, and managing day-to-day operations come naturally to you. You’re confident working in secure environments and understand the importance of following procedures to the letter – especially when it comes to health and safety, security requirements, and manual handling.
Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders is something you’re great at. You communicate clearly, work well with people at all levels, and always keep your promises. If an incident crops up, you stay calm, resolve it efficiently, and keep everyone informed. You’re self-motivated and proactive, with an eye for detail and accuracy – whether you’re entering data, managing stock, or overseeing resources. You’re comfortable using basic IT systems to keep operations flowing smoothly.
You’re also adaptable and always ready to learn new skills. While experience in warehousing, international logistics, or working with government departments and the diplomatic community would be a bonus, what really matters is your willingness to get stuck in and learn as you go.
Get support that builds your future
Working with us, you’ll help keep people, information, and assets safe around the world. It’s a role you can feel proud of; and we aim to make every part of your career just as rewarding. That’s why when you join us, expect to receive a competitive salary, generous holiday entitlement and a Civil Service Pension. Along with this, you’ll also have access to training and other development opportunities to help grow your career with us. Our offices have an on-site gym, nursery, café, and restaurant, and we offer interest-free loans on season tickets and bikes to help you get there. It's a great set of benefits made to support all you do and all you need.
