Summary

We have an excellent opportunity for you to be part of our Residential Team in Denny. We support individuals within a residential home in a way that is meaningful, fulfilling and ensures they are an active member of their community.

You should be flexible in your approach to work and be able to work as part of a rota over seven days. You must be able to work weekends, start at 8AM and potentially finish as late as 10.30PM. Your contract hours would be 110 hours per four weeks.

Ideal candidates must have experience working in a care environment and hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care).

Applicants should be good team players, be sensitive to the needs of individuals and colleagues, have the ability to remain calm under pressure, be experienced in dealing with and managing behaviour that challenges, have strong communication skills to motivate other people and have an enthusiastic empathetic personality.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate compassion, empathy and enthusiasm in their approach to caring and supporting adults in residential a setting, either through previous roles in social care or in other life experiences.

Your responsibilities would include following individual support plans, helping with day-to-day tasks (which may include personal care), promoting independent living within the local community, supporting individual outcome achievements.

We will require an update/registration of Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme to work with vulnerable adults and will need to ensure compliance with SSSC registration.
