We are looking for two Seasonal Location Attendants to work within our team in Dartmouth and Salcombe. You will need to have a full driver’s licence as a Council vehicle will be provided for you to complete your duties successfully. As you travel throughout the district, each day will be different. Enthusiasm counts for a lot so don’t be put off if you’ve not worked in this area before, full training will be given. Rain or shine and the occasional snow, the wheels keep on turning, so you must be fit, reliable and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
So, what else are we looking for? To be successful, you will be required to travel to these locations, keeping your designated facilities clean, tidy, and replenished. You will also act as an ambassador for the area, help visitors and tourists with a multitude of questions and represent South Hams District Council with pride where Safety Comes First.
Respectful and helpful, you will find yourself interacting and communicating with the general public and other road users each day. Good timekeeping is essential, and the ability accurately record the work you have done and report any issues onto a provided mobile tablet device.
Full training will be given.
