Summary
Job Purpose: To assist with the picking and the maintenance of the raspberry crop.
Main duties and responsibilities:
To hand pick ripe fruits to the correct specification, avoiding damage
To sort and place berries into appropriate containers
To meet required picking targets set by QC or site management
To follow all farm hygiene and safety procedures
To report any crop or quality issues to the QC or site management
To plant raspberry plants
To prune raspberry plants and help with propagation
To assist with general plant, site and irrigation maintenance
To maintain punctuality and a strong work ethic
To proactively participate in the individual performance management process, achieving SMART targets and continuous personal developments.
To fully participate in the development and achievement of the R&D Departmental Vision
To undertake any other duty commensurate with the role
