Are you passionate about providing life-changing care? We’re looking for a dedicated Female Complex Care Assistant to join our compassionate team in the Cannock area, where you'll have the opportunity to support one individual client in a truly meaningful way.

In this unique role, you’ll be working closely with a person living with Motor Neurone Disease, helping them maintain their independence and live life to the fullest – both at home and out in the community.You’ll be part of a small, friendly team providing 1:1 or 2:1 support, depending on the shift. Our small teams of Personal Assistants provide bespoke, person centered care to really make a difference in our clients lives. You’ll only be working with one client which enables you to truly get to know them and make a meaningful difference each day.

You must be comfortable with pets as there are several cats in the clients home.

⏰Your contracted hours will be: 18 hours a week. There is a mixture of shifts and there is some flexibility in days of the week worked, which can be discussed at interview. Alternative weekends will be required.

✏️All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.

Who we are looking for:You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with experience of:


  • Personal care, support to manage incontinence, and measures to maintain a good skin state.
  • Catheter Care.
  • Moving and Handling (including hoisting and position changes).
  • Domestic duties (Laundry, cleaning, cooking nutritious meals).
  • Gastrostomy care and administration of prescribed feed, fluid and medication.
  • Monitoring of general health and well being, and daily record keeping.
  • Proving support around meal times due to the clients dysphagia

You should also have:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
    Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.
