Summary
What's involved with this role:
Contract Type: Temporary
The role: You will be the first point of contact for HR advice, providing accurate and timely guidance to managers and employees across the team. The role supports key functions such as employee relations, performance management, change processes, and casework resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line HR advice in line with legislation and policy
Support and guide managers through casework (grievance, disciplinary, capability, etc.)
Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and promote service improvement
Record casework outcomes and contribute to service development
Attend hearings and multi-agency strategy meetings
Participate in job evaluations and grading reviews
What the client is looking for:
Experience in an HR advisory role
Solid understanding of employment law and best practice
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office
Graduate CIPD member
Experience in both public and private sectors
Knowledge of TUPE processes
Skilled in negotiation, influencing, and presentation
