About The Role:

Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed Mobile IT Technician with experience of supporting users, and to contribute to the delivery of an effective IT Support Service throughout the trust. To respond to identified needs, ensure continuity of service and achieve planned reporting objectives and deadlines. This role requires the successful candidate to provide day-to-day first line support in the running and maintenance of the schools IT systems including hardware, software, servers, and infrastructure. The strength of the trusts IT support team is built on the technicians who work hard to provide the very best support and service to teachers and students to ensure a reliable teaching and learning environment. We share an ethos which promotes high standards of support in all of our schools. We encourage the talents and skills of all of our technicians, and aim is to foster a strong team member mentality, and the desire to make a positive contribution to the whole team.

About You:

You will have experience and technical IT knowledge of up to date operating systems and software, problem solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues. You will be familiar with common user applications including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Teams, and have a strong passion for learning and development of your own skills in IT. This position requires that the applicant enjoys engaging with young people and is able to keep calm under pressure with a positive can-do attitude.
