Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher ready to take on the challenge of leading a Year 6 class through their final year of primary school? Hays Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Grove Park, Lewisham, to recruit a passionate and committed Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
The Role:As the Year 6 Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Prepare pupils for SATs and transition to secondary school
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Upper Key Stage 2
- A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to raising standards and ensuring all pupils reach their potential
