Staff Nurse – Day Shifts | £20 per Hour | Full-Time | Elderly Nursing & Dementia Care
A bright, welcoming care home providing expert nursing and dementia care for older adults is looking for a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its experienced day team. As a Staff Nurse working day shifts, you will help deliver personalised, evidence-based care for older adults—many of whom are living with dementia. You’ll be part of a kind, professional team, providing hands-on support while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort for every resident.
What You’ll Need
- A valid NMC PIN (RGN or RMN)
- Clinical confidence and good working knowledge of elderly and/or dementia care
- Previous experience in a nursing home or similar setting is preferred
- Compassionate, calm, and professional approach
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care across the nursing and dementia units
- Administer medication and monitor care plans in line with regulatory and clinical standards
- Work closely with families, GPs, and other professionals to ensure holistic care
- Support junior care staff with leadership, guidance, and mentoring
- Help maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards
