Staff Nurse – Day Shifts | £20 per Hour | Full-Time | Elderly Nursing & Dementia Care

A bright, welcoming care home providing expert nursing and dementia care for older adults is looking for a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its experienced day team. As a Staff Nurse working day shifts, you will help deliver personalised, evidence-based care for older adults—many of whom are living with dementia. You’ll be part of a kind, professional team, providing hands-on support while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort for every resident.

What You’ll Need

  • A valid NMC PIN (RGN or RMN)
  • Clinical confidence and good working knowledge of elderly and/or dementia care
  • Previous experience in a nursing home or similar setting is preferred
  • Compassionate, calm, and professional approach
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care across the nursing and dementia units
  • Administer medication and monitor care plans in line with regulatory and clinical standards
  • Work closely with families, GPs, and other professionals to ensure holistic care
  • Support junior care staff with leadership, guidance, and mentoring
  • Help maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards
