Serco Defence deliver a range of services and products to our customers and the MOD, which include the maintenance and training on T92 Radar systems at several sites. Within this team, we are currently recruiting for a Radar Engineer to support our experts at RRH Buchan.

The Radar Engineer will maintain the T92 Radar at Buchan radar ensuring that KPI targets, quality compliance, safety, continuous improvement, and other contractual obligations are met at site.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

- Deliver 1st line preventative maintenance on the T92 Radar Systems.
- Deliver 1st/2nd line corrective maintenance on the T92 Radar Systems.
- Engaging with the relevant internal and external organisations and key stakeholders to build and maintain Serco’s reputation.
- Provide out of hours call out to support radar availability when required.
- Maintain and review radar technical manuals.
- Maintain and manage all tools and test equipment required to support T92 system.
- Support the Site Technical Manager to maximise the overall system availability.
- Spares management of the Buchan inventory.
- Provide a site support to Lockheed Martin when required.


What you’ll need to do the role:

- You will hold a recognised Electronics and Electrical qualification.
- Radio frequency experience.
- Proven practical and pragmatic understanding of service delivery.
