The Role
Do you have experience of Commissioning, contract management and leading a team to support the delivering and implementation of high-quality provision which includes residential, nursing and support at home, if so, this could be the role for you.
You will be expected to take overall responsibility for the operational and strategic management and development of the Service area:
Age Well, Homes for All & Business Unit
Ensure the efficient and effective provision of operational services and systems for the above service and their development.
The duties may vary from time to time without changing the nature of the post or the level of responsibility, and the post holder may also be required to carry out any other duties appropriate to the grading of the post.
To continue to develop and lead the service area with the ability to communicate a strategic vision and effective forward planning ensuring the service is robust for the future.
About You
We are looking for highly motivated, energetic people with great interpersonal skills and the capacity to forge excellent relationships and effective multi-agency working. You will be passionate and can work strategically on intelligence led and high-quality commissioning. You will have the ability to deliver multiple projects within timescales while achieving required outcomes.
You will be driven to ensure the best for our residents and will be committed to involving them in coproduction along with partners to enable a fully comprehensive approach to commissioning.
You will have excellent analytical skills and lateral thinking to develop creative and innovative solutions. You will be positive about change and have experience of supporting innovation and culture change, to drive improvements across Adult’s Services. You will have experience of overcoming barriers to deliver successful outcomes. You must be capable of working on your own initiative to help drive and enable improved outcomes for or Adults. The post is a minimum two - three days office based and the remainder hybrid working.
