Fetcham Village Pre-schoolPre-school Practitioner (Part-time and Term time only)
We are looking for an experienced practitioner to work at our wonderful pre-school. Our children are happy, curious and enthusiastic and our staff are supportive, dedicated and hardworking. Our thriving pre-school is at the heart of the community and linked closely with Fetcham Village Infant School.Our recent Ofsted report states it is a ‘warm and nurturing pre-school’ and children ‘smile with delight’ whilst learning.

Ideal criteria
1. Previous experience of working with young children
2. To hold or be working towards a full relevant Level 3 qualification or higher
3. Commitment to equal opportunities and ensuring the individual needs of children are identified and met
4. Commitment to young children and families and ability to create positive working relationships with children, staff, parents and carers.
5. To be flexible in hours and duties in order to meet the needs and requirements of the nursery.
6. To be a key person for a group of children and manage EYFS learning through Tapestry effectively.
7. To be able to observe and plan for the children’s development, interests and create next steps.
8. To complete parent meetings, progress checks and transitions to school.
9. Follow all the pre-school’s policies and procedures
10. Safeguard children at all times and have a strong understanding of safeguarding and health and safety.
