Our faculty is at the forefront of construction education especially in Building Services.
We provide a diverse range of further education courses and apprenticeships. These
include Entry Level Qualifications, Diplomas, Apprenticeship Standards, and Adult
Courses. We’re seeking a passionate and innovative leader to help drive our continued
growth and success.
Your Role: Make a Difference:
As Curriculum Manager, you’ll work closely with the Head of Sustainable Building
Services to:
• Drive effective curriculum management and achieve high standards in
student learning and outcomes.
• Manage specific curriculum areas, student groups, and staff, ensuring
excellence in education delivery.
• Take an active role in innovation, introducing and leading new developments
to advance our curriculum and teaching practices.
About this Role:
While Curriculum Managers may be required to oversee various curriculum areas as
needs evolve, this role currently focuses on managing the faculty’s apprenticeship
provision and the faculty’s Apprenticeship Assessor Compliance Coaches (AACC).
Key responsibilities include onsite assessments, apprentice reviews, supporting the
onboarding process, and ensuring EPA gateway readiness. The role also includes
involvement with our 19+ learner cohort.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone with:
• A proven track record of good/outstanding teaching, assessing or training in
construction and the built environment.• A full teaching qualification (minimum Level 4)
• A qualification at Level 3 or higher
• Strong communication skills to inspire and support both adults and young
people in achieving their learning and career goals.
• Experience in managing staff and curriculum is desirable but not essential.
