About the Role
Southern Housing is looking for a reliable and experienced Estate Services Cleaner to join our Estate Care Project South team. You’ll be working as part of a small, friendly team helping to maintain the cleanliness and safety of communal areas in social housing properties across the Isle of Wight.
Key Details
Transport Provided: Travel to and between sites will be arranged
Teamwork: You’ll be partnered with a colleague throughout your duties
Variety: Work across multiple estate locations—no two days the same
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
Cleaning internal and external communal areas such as hallways, staircases, landings, and bin stores
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming shared spaces
Reporting any maintenance or safety issues as needed
Supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
✅ What You’ll Bring
Prior cleaning experience, ideally in a social housing or similar setting
A strong work ethic and eye for detail
Ability to work well in a team and follow safety protocols
Willingness to travel between sites
