About the Role

As an MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) Driver, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of essential equipment to the Network Rail infrastructure. This is a key position within our Multi-Purpose Vehicle & Module Operation unit, offering the opportunity to work on critical shifts and contribute to the success of major contracts.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and control a Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV)
  • Transport and deliver equipment to support operational delivery on the rail network
  • Perform minor maintenance and repairs on the MPV
  • Collaborate with a small, dedicated team on high-profile projects
  • Work flexibly to accommodate a roster that includes nights, weekends, bank holidays, and short-notice changes

Who we're looking for

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified train driver with a strong safety record
  • Solid understanding of railway health and safety standards, especially in train operations
  • Holder of a valid Sentinel Card
  • Up-to-date route knowledge and familiarity with the rail infrastructure
  • Understanding of core asset modules
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer-focused with a professional attitude
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
