We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Production Supervisor to join our friendly team on a progressive family-run farm near Chichester. You’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day harvesting and crop husbandry operations, helping us produce top-quality fruit while leading a diverse team. You need good English skills and you must legally be allowed to work in the UK.

What you’ll be doing:

Organising the harvest:

Ensuring packaging, picking equipment and labour are ready and in top shape.

Overseeing picker technique, productivity, food hygiene and safety.

Quality controlling harvest operations – grading, cleaning crops and maintaining tidy, safe areas.

Moving fruit promptly to cold storage and safeguarding it from contamination.

Admin & records:

Handling cards/timesheets and harvest records.

Ensuring smooth reporting of packing and labour data.

Crop husbandry:

Leading teams to maintain high productivity and quality.

Overseeing care of plants, with safe working practices and correct use of equipment.

Climate & irrigation management:

Adjusting vents and irrigation to meet crop and weather requirements where needed, working closely with agronomic guidance and in tandem with our Farm Manager.

Leadership & teamwork:

Setting a positive tone on site, working closely with seasonal and regular staff.

Taking shared responsibility for weekend duties during peak season (June–September).

What we’re looking for:

A practical, organised approach with experience working on or leading farm operations or similar environments.

Strong communication skills to keep teams motivated and maintain high standards.

Flexibility to help in other areas outside the main season.

A genuine interest in plant care and producing great fruit.

What’s on offer:

Competitive pay based on experience and accommodation in mobile home if required.

A supportive, family-run environment with modern facilities

Applications from couples considered.

Opportunity to grow your skills in all aspects of crop production and farm management.
