This Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant role in Bradford offers the perfect platform to launch your education career.

Key Information

• Start Date: September 2025 (interviews ongoing)
• Contract: Full-time, long-term (term-time only)
• Hours: Monday to Friday – 32.5 hours per week
• Salary: Up to £560 per week
• Location: Primary schools across Bradford and surrounding areas

The Role

• Support pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 through in-class assistance and targeted interventions
• Deliver one-to-one and small group support for children with additional needs
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other education professionals
• Help implement learning strategies and classroom management techniques
• Support pupils both academically and socially, fostering confidence and progress

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Minimum 2:1 degree (Education, Psychology, English, Maths or similar fields advantageous)
• Passion for working with children and a genuine interest in education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, adaptability, and professionalism in a classroom setting

Desirable:

• Experience working with children in an educational or youth-based setting
• Knowledge or awareness of SEN, EAL, or behaviour support strategies
• Previous experience in a school environment
